Great vid, minor point. The "F" mark does NOT mean no1 ready to fire UNLESS it's on the correct stroke as you mentioned with the "thumb in the hole" trick. All the "F" really means is that the no1 piston is "up". Many people seem to stumble with timing an engine, one of the most basic (and first) steps to a good running mota'
fairbanks morse magnetos are in my opinion some of the best mags made! some of the wico mag's were ok. when i put the hot wico magneto on my john deere L i stuck right to the timing instructions and i got it spot on on my first attempt!!! i didnt even have to tweek the mag any it was sweet!!!
