In ALL THE WAY, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Schenkkan (Handler, By the Waters of Babylon) turns his gaze to Lyndon Baines Johnson from his ascendancy to the presidency through the passage of the Civil Rights Act and his victory in the 1964 presidential election. ALL THE WAY brings together Johnson, Martin Luther King Jr., Hubert Humphrey, Fannie Lou Hamer, J. Edgar Hoover, George Wallace and others, telling the story of a time of moral courage, political mastery and profound change on a sweeping, Shakespearean scale. The play will run in the Angus Bowmer Theatre from July 23 through November 3.
