  • @ConnorHTV thanks

  • hi have you check to see if you have permission to modify your USB,if not you can check by right click on your USB,under the security tab click on advanced,a new window should pop up,go to the tab 'owner' and if your not the "current owner" just press edit

  • I have a Kingston flashdrive too and am having the exact same problem. Mine is freaking full even though I have deleted everything in it... Obviously the files are still in there but I have been trying to format and its giving me the same crappy error message that its giving you. Goodluck =]

  • @thecomputerguytony

    hi

at C:\windows\system32>G:...it says "access denied" although i am connected as adminitrator :-(

  • @aydan2468 It apears the operation dont complete disk is write protected what to do :(?

  • right click on your my computer then go to manage then go down to disk management the right click on your USB then go to format then change the FAT to FAT32 then the box under that change that to default then tick the quick format then its done :)

  • 1. Shutdown your computer or laptop

    2. Insert USB Memory Stick into your laptop or Computer

    3. Turn on laptop and then immediately start pressing (F8) key then Advanced Boot Options screen will come up

    4. Select Safe Mode with Command Prompt

    5. After loading files if your USB Memory Stick drive letter is (G) for example then write as

    6. C:\windows\system32>G: and press enter

    7. G:\>format G: and press enter

    8. If ask you (Y/N) then press (Y) and press enter

  • Why do people say to try the lock on the side .There is no usb sticks with a locks on them.
