They couldnt marry because it was against the law! In case you didnt know and dont know firsthand being black in this country is hard to deal with especially coming up against the likes of people like you. Quick to judge. Quick to appear to be morally superior and at the same time fall so short of God's glory. HOW ROMANTIC!!! (in it's own unique way of course). Romantically persistant guys like Bill always make me laugh/smile. They don't take "no" very easily; a lady can brush them off over and over again, and they still come back for more. They might as well just say "Baby, you can run but you can't hide, I'm always gonna be chasin' after you, I don't care if you go to confession. . .it's gonna be me, you and the priest!" X-D
It's annoying but cute at the same time, I love it! ^_^

omg legacy!!! I liked this show, used to come on the WB or UPN...they filmed it in charlottesville and i actually saw these two at VA Center commons movie theatre in richmond va!!
