@killercroc89 Yeah I'd have to agree with that for sure. That film had a quality to it that I've never encountered before. The sheer scale of it all, thier mission, the sun, the heat and radiation, the distance from home... Good film!

I found out about Cliff Martinez from the movie Contagion, in which he made the soundtrack. This guy is awesome.

Solaris' soundtrack is as powerful and cerebral as the movie itself. Honestly one of the best movie scores I've ever heard and one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Maybe you should watch the movie from 1972 (same title) or read the book from stanislaw lem to understand the deep thoughts of this masterpiece...

I think ive seen this move over 100 times, I love the soundtrack it speaks to my soul. As for the movie I think itss about well forgiveness and a second chance. My favorite all time movie im suprised they never released a Blu Ray version.
