Chris Latta will always be fondly remembered as the first; but ultimately, the best version HAS to be Charlie Adler. Not only is he everything the bio said he was (hatred and evil personified, etc.), but his voice just added an entirely sinister air to the whole thing by itself. Like Hugo Weaving's performance as Megatron or Johann Schmidt (the Red Skull).

Chris Latta is bar none the best VA for Cobra Commander. I could never look at any interpetation of Cobra Commander without think of his voice. Ruthless and evil sounding, but still had a hint of comical arrogance.
