  • I just got this weird itch all around my arms, and it came out of nowhere. I'm trying to sleep but I can't! All I did was dry brush and moisturize my arms less than an hour ago... The itch looks like poison ivy marks now that I've scratched it...

  • It was brought up to my attention that the itch nerve fibers are seperate compared to pain receptors research by neurophysiologist Martin Schmelz. He proved that the need to scratch reaches the spinal cord from the skin via independent nerve fibers called polymodal C-fibers.
