Ben never expected to be besieged by six different people, all laying claim to be the Meredith Smith; among them a woman named Meredith and a scroungy hillbilly known as Little Meredith.

This series was never as good without Pernell Roberts. I'm watching this one to see Robert Colbert in what I've heard is a Brent Maverick-type role. (That wasn't a typo: Brent, not Bret.)
