ASBOrometer iPhone app: interview with the creator, Jeff Gilfelt

The ASBOrometer application for iPhone and Android has been featured in the Sun newspaper, many blogs and has over 100,000 downloads on the iTunes application store, where it was, for a while, the most downloaded free application.

Jeff Gilfelt is a freelance software developer who created ASBOrometer in five days using data sourced from the Government's Open Data initiative, data.gov.uk. He spoke to me briefly about the application, his motivations for making it and gave me a quick demo.
