is bumblebee supposed to be scaled to the same proportions as the g1 toy is with optimus prime? because he always looks so tiny in these episodes. he's supposed to become a VW beetle but he looks as small as a smart car!

@autobotjazz29 Yeah, Bee gets an "upgrade" (a.k.a.: gets an entirely new body because his original was beyond repair) into a more mature form and Prime decides to call him "Goldbug." Yet, in the last G1 battle, you can spot Bumblebee (nobody has figured out if it was intentional or an animation fluke), making him one of the 9 (I believe) original Autobots to appear in all 3 G1 seasons. In the comics, Goldbug offlines and Ratchet restores him as Bumblebee out of personal preference.

@StreetFighter2010 they had, but the PSAs on transformers featured similar topics on G.I. Joe. Even Jem had these, but instead of a "half the battle" tagline, it was "X makes you the superstar" (with X denoting the right thing to do).

in the episode the return of optimus prime or something doesnt bumblebee get a new golden color paint job and is now to what they say bumblebee:"wow look at my new paint job im like a gold bug" prime:"yes and thats what you will now be called"

I'm not sure what you mean, but It's included in the 20th Anniversary Special Edition DVD which is available in Wal-Mart store.... I just ripped those special bonus extra clippings from the DVD...
