  • Thanks for upload!!! Youtube has deleted this vid ages ago and I`m so glad I watch it again now! VU is my fav band! <3 I`m only 21 but I miss those days! 60`s was the best music time ever! What we have now? My Shit Romance?? Fallout Bleh?? God, Hroin is the best song ever written in my opinion. It`s just... you know

  • Wow.. really? Some of the best musicians in the world have been influenced by drug use.. unfortunate, but true.. Rolling Stones, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, RHCP, etc..etc..

Some of the deepest musical expressions have been directly related to an artist's indulgence in a substance.

I guess nobody at an aphex twin show was ever rolling on x, or tweaking on meth, or candyflipping on LSD as well...

    Right?

  • @65DEMON65 Not only is alcohol a drug, it'd be a class A drug if it was introduced in recent times!

  • ......alcohol IS a drug........no ammount of government sanction changes that, it just uses social acceptance as camo....

  • back before lou reed was a faggot

  • esta cancion tiene algo como magico, tiene 2 acordes, pero es una belleza increbile, es tan prfunda esta cancioon, la amoo!

  • I couldn't get my mainline sideways so i listened to Sister Ray when she wasn't sucking on my ding dong.

  • @OrpheusIsThe1 Actually, I definitely remember either Roger or David casually mentioning a guy they knew bringing them a joint every now and then. Considering they drank, they certainly would have no problem with an occasional joint.

Yes, I'm aware of them saying they didn't do drugs, but I'm also aware about one of them bringing this up. I honestly don't remember what interview, but it's no lie.

There's also rumours of Richard Wright later developing a cocaine addiction or something.

  • @TheOneartist If you read up about the Floyd after Syd left they never did "drugs" at all. They didn't even smoke spliffs. All this stuff about them recording DSOM stoned off their heads is wrong. They, like you say were into gags and booze, mainly beer, so much so that they had a fridge installed in the studio for their beers but it was strictly business first with them no getting pissed up when recording, just a couple and that was it. There are many film & radio interviews to corroborate this
