i was very excited to hear the voice of Fritz Hirsch - he was my grand father's brother and my father spoke to me about him a lot! If there's someone out there that knew him or belonged to his family please let me know.

Wirkleich eine sehr interessante Aufnahme.

Eine der seltenen Aufführungen der Viktoria war 2007 im Theater Wuppertal.

Die Instrumentierung war auch weitgehend vom "Sound" der 1950er Jahre

"gereinigt". Vielleicht kommt die Verfilmung von 1931 mit Schuster, Bohnen u.a. ja doch einmal in guter Tonqualität auf DVD (Man soll ja immer hoffen:-) )
