  • (continue from below) - These seizures/tremor happen at random and have lasted from 1-10 minutes. She just goes real quite, starts to shake, and kinda looks she is off in space. Sometimes if things happen during this time she does not remember it either. No doc has said anything about Parkinson but they have talked about strokes or even anxiety attacks or even nerve issues but they docs are still unsure. Any kind of info would help.

  • @dakine2285 Hello, her consultants and GP would definitely be the best people to ask about what's happening. For general information about Parkinson's Disease, stroke, and anxiety please go to the Health A-Z section of the NHS Choices website (nhs.uk)

    Kind regards,

    NHS Choices

  • I have just been diagnosed as having the onset of Parkinson's disease, and have been feverishly looking this up on the Net. Your video was most reassuring and helpful.

  • My mum is diagnosed with Parkinson when she was only 38 years old too .. and we have been coping with her disease for more than 10 years now ... It is not only important for the person who suffers the disease to think positive ... it is Much More important for those around them to understand what they are going through and try to keep up ....

I HATE those ppl who ACTUALLY thinks that my mum uses it as an excuse to escape hardwork! They dunno half of the truth & are being very unsupportive !!

  • Thanks for this video. Though I was diagnosed a couple of years ago it never occurred to me to search PD on YouTube until tonight. I'm going to be on here a while looking at the masses of stuff there is here. Hope you're doing ok.

  • I'm age 22 and i've been diagnosed with early onset parkinsons. It is the scariest thing any young person can go through. I was uneducated about parkinsons and thought it was the end of the world.

But now i know the last two years of my life where symptoms have started just seems to fit, my partner is very supportive. I just wish they'd do more documentries about this, maybe then other people could spot the symptoms early enough to perhaps help themselves.
