500 whales were saved from an illegal slaughter by the Japanese government, partly due to the efforts of Sea Shepherd. Sea Shepherd is a direct-action marine conservation group that doesn't protest, but also doesn't aim to injure lives, however, does aim to stop illegal slaughtering on the high seas. This video depicts the Sea Shepherd anti-whaling campaign in 2007, what whaling is, how it is illegal and how Sea Shepherd contributed in stopping to stopping this illegal whaling. I would first escalate the encounters by feeding my water cannons whale blood and spraying down the Sea Hippies as they came close. Then, as they were hugging each other and singing Kum-Ba-Ya, I would throw a grappling hook and pull their helicopter over the side. And then I would use the Shonan Maru 2 to slice their new "Secret Weapon", The Ady Gil, in two!!

Japan's research whaling is internationmally permitted by IWC. 10 years moratorium since 1980's exceeded the period, but anti-whaling countries broke the term. this video twisting even basical facts. Sea Shepherd need such your lack of literacy and insight to the trueth. this is why most people cannot stop laughing at Paul Watson's comedy show on TV.

this video failed to tell lies about whaling. Sea Shepherd just uses name of whales and issue of whaling. at least spreading out lies shamefully is only their bias to collect ignorant support and money. using violence is easy and effective way to raise attention through TV media.

I understand what you say...

I think main topic is regarding to those countries disposing dangerous levels of chemicals, not to whaling.

Most of the developed countries have good disposing system. however not US, Russia AU, of course not China, India.

We should protect sea and sea animals.

Japan has no navy, but a naval self defence force.

The ships do have Japanese coast guard.
