@613Giovanni613 Wrong, there is not enough pressure on that strap to pull him out! The only reason for the strap is to prevent him from rolling or flopping. How many times have you ever been to Moab or the Rubicon? I live between them, btw. I live in the mountains of Eastern Central Nevada (Ely, NV area; at 7100' ASL), which is even more remote than Moab. Where I go, I don't have a spotter; and if you fuck up, you may be out there for a day, week, or they may never find your sorry ass!

@tilley9898 Seen a lot of trucks roll there! So, you are right about strapping at the Hot Tub in Moab.

that was a drag

@WJguy420 you got your maths wrong there mate
-
your not climbing your getting towed
-
@WJguy420 just because you have lockers, doesnt mean there isnt a need for a strap or a winch, all lockers do is try to power through the thing. its kinda hard when you're on an almost vertical climb, i'd want a strap there too

Hey Bubba. Let's see if we kin make all these rarks black man?

All you numb nuts are arguing about whether he was pulled up or not just need to read the description.

lockers= no need for straps/winch

wjcherokee wrote ... ... the only reason the strap looks tight is becasue someone is pulling on it so he dosent drive over it ... ... ... But once he's up and under his own steam he DOES drive over it. ... Also when he gets to the top all you see is the strap disappearing over the other side. ... So the person pulling on the strap is over the other side and totally out of sight of what's going on? ... Well maybe. But to me it looks like her was helped up.
i understand the reason for a strap but there was no slack until he got to the top...
