I wanted to get to this earlier in the day but it's late so I'm extra sleepy, it's dark, and I have to keep my voice down but at least I did it TODAY. My next video should be a little more lively.
Picked up a PS3 today, but won't have time to play it because I finished this instead, so appreciate my sacrifice! :)
(I might just give it a go before bed though, the new Batman game looks pretty good...) =)

  • a lot of ppl w dysautonomia actually end up with cfs too... which i suppose explains part of me being so tired and weak with pots.

  • Yeah, I wouldn't be too surprised if both illnesses have the same cause, I seem to have a very mild form of POTS myself, I started getting heavy dizzy spells a few years ago when I tried increasing my exercise by a lot

  • N-Acetyl-Cysteine can help immune cells live longer with HIV infections... if you have XMRV you might look into it... it seems to have helped me. I also drink home-made kefir and take vitamin d regularly. i've noticed a HUGE improvement with this combination. just thought I would throw that out there if people are looking for alternatives to the nearly non existent medical ones out there.

  • Thanks for the tips, my cat actually has "FIV", the cat version of HIV and he's been doing pretty well on a new treatment/supplement, so I'm thinking you may be right that if the cause of CFS is similar to that of HIV then we may already have some effective treatments to try. Cool. I'm also trying to find a Vit D source that works for me. Regular supplements actually make my insomnia (delayed sleep onset mostly) worse, so looking into UV bulbs and things.

    Cheers judder

  • Great video Nate! The XMRV thing is pretty interesting.. i know with dysautonomia a lot of us started out with a virus of some sort...and thanks for the mention! looking forward to you making more videos! :)

  • Hey, did you manage to get down some goodies today? Got me some tasty turkey and pie so I'm happy.

I keep wanting to ask everyone how their Thanksgiving weekend is going, but so many people I know are Yanks. ;-)

  • STATED IN THE NEW YORK TIMES!

    (CFS ME)

XMRV. By contrast, only 3.7 percent of 218 healthy people were infected. Continuing work after the paper was published has found the virus in nearly 98 percent of about 300 patients with the syndrome, said Dr. Judy A. Mikovits, the lead author of the paper.

  • Just came across this video! Thanks so much for posting the petition! Great video - this retrovirus is really interesting and gives me lots of hope. :) Keep posting videos !!

  • New York Times is awesome, this thing is spreading! (note the pun) Let's hope this snowball keeps rolling, finally get some real attention!

    How ya bin Sandy?

  • I started poking them in the eye whenever they called me crazy so they don't any more, but yeah, still great news. :)
