[As of 12 June 2011: I've noticed from the video comments a running trend of insulting a certain user who accused me of having no technique. Despite the fact that I, the author of the video, genuinely agree with his comment, other Youtube users have proceeded to directly insult and mock this particular user. What I find more interesting than any piece of art is certainly the reactions of the human heart, not only to art, but to others, and I'm rather saddened to find that people cannot simply enjoy the music if it suits their tastes and offer constructive criticism.
If you like the music, then that's great. If not, that's also great. There's nothing wrong with liking vanilla or chocolate ice cream; there's nothing wrong with liking my rendition or not. There's nothing wrong with stating your *opinion.* I can't control anyone, but if you are about to respond in some sarcastic or insulting way to someone else, please reconsider. That is my simple request. Civility is encouraged, but do you see the irony of responding to non-constructive comments with hate or anger or bitterness? Don't fall for the trap. Escape the cycle of hatred from the start. Rise above that level. As Jesus of Nazareth said, "Bless those who curse." I think that's a wise position to take for any person in this day and age.]
Transposed entirely by ear from the Super Smash Bros. Live CD Hyrule Temple so some of the notes may be off from the real thing. I added a little of my own to the song. There was accidentally a little distortion near the end.
Edit: Some people have noted my unusual clothing, so I'm going to address that. When I recorded this, it was at night, and I was in my pajamas. :D
Edit 2: I can't send you sheet music because I did this by ear, and I don't know how to compose. Search Google or something for sheet music; I'm sure it's somewhere on the internet.
Edit 3: I am quite aware that my tempo and keeping time abilities are far below par and that I hold down the sustain pedal far too long in a lot of places. Looking back, I do wish I could make a cleaner version of the song, but I'm too lazy. I would like to point out that when I was taking piano lessons, my teacher never taught me the very technical details of piano playing, so I'm not properly trained in playing pieces with the clean precision you may hear in a classical song. That being said, I don't intend on learning how to better my playing because I am content with how I play now. Call it a pity or laziness or a waste of talent, but piano playing is just a hobby of mine that I don't intend to make a professional career out of (thank God).
Edit 4: Oh, just so you know, richgr1123 is me, so if you see richgr1123 responding, don't think he's some random person.
To those who are wondering: Yes, I have broken strings while playing. At the time of writing this, a G note on my piano is still unfixed.
43 people are just bloody idiotic.
No need for a pun or anything here.
They just are.
