Video from bus ride from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Petionville, Haiti. Aside for the length of the ride ( a little over 6 hours), the trip was uneventful and even had a flight attendant type woman to serve meals and help out with passports and paperwork at the Haitian/Dominican border.

  • Big thank you for posting this! This is really helpful for me. I'll be making the same trip this week. Really appreciated!

  • @szptenglish Glad I was able to help. I've taken this trip one time since then (right after the earthquake when no planes were landing in Haiti) and it was very hectic. Things have calmed down by now. The trip is long, so grab a good book, some snacks, and some headphones.

  • @HaitiXchange I'll do just that. I'm really looking forward to the journey.

  • @szptenglish Please make sure you let us know how it goes.

  • @reech101 Listen to the video carefully before you continue your yapping. I said I didn't expect it to be that much, which is different from me complaining that it was too expensive.

  • @musicmedia718 Haití was the Taíno name of a region (now known as Los Haitises) in the northeastern section of the present-day Dominican Republic, Although the Taínos's use of Haití is verified and the name was used by historians, evidence suggests that it was not the Taíno name of the whole island. although, recently shown that 20% of the dominican population is haitian or haitian descent, especially after the quake.

  • @brianmenendez Are u suggesting that haiti has nothing and is not an interesting place to go to? Because if u do, UR DAMM WRONG!

  • @Haveanxboxi I'm actually an African American mixed with Filipino.

  • @morenaso1 Shoot, you right! When I lived in FL, I paid $75 to go from Daytona to Tampa on Greyhound, and this bus is WAY cleaner than greyhound!
