The tv has a special screen that shows a different image if you look from a different angle (maybe it works like those rulers with a 'moving' image). So your left eye receives different images as your right eye. Your brain mixes the images as a 3D image.
So 2010 is supposed to be the year of 3d? (for early adopters anyway) its there a standard format?, probably not! there's hardly any content out there the technology is largely untested and hugely expensive! it would be better to wait and see how this all pans out!
