Yep, still want the 9219.

to NLind: I can get you one of the smaller AC/DC piezo units. My godmother moved into her new condo last winter, and ironicly it has 2 of them. One is missing the cover, but I managed to save 2 covers from the ones in her old place (my uncle tossed the smokes themselves before I could snag them). She has 2 replacments I believe they're Kiddes, waiting to go up. Let me know if you want one. Also on a side note: still want that 9219?

Yep. I had one of those Lifesaver piezo alarms in my first detector collection. Another difference is that in the upper right wedge there are 7 holes that act as the horn's output vents. Mine was unique in that you could actually change the pitch of the horn (from G7 to A7) by rotating it. Wish I still had it!

Neat buzz!

This may sound like a dumb question but is this alarm also from the mid 1970's around the same time the Sears alarm came out? I often thought these were Sears alarms as well as mentioned in a previous post.

I thought this was made in the early 90s until I saw this video for some reason.

I know the kind of smoke alarm you are talking about. The Lifesaver alarm looked alot like these ones but much smaller. My sister has the Lifesaver alarms in her house. They don't make me jump nearly as much when they go off because its a piezo horn.

forgot to mention, they're not as big as this one with the test button in the middle. Also forgot tha tin one of my old apartments there was one of these with a piezo.

My aunt had 2 in her house when sh elived in CT back in the mid 90's. They had piezos in them. My godmother has 4 non functioning one that look very similar to this, made my lifesaver, that are 120VAC/9VDC back up installed when the house was built in 1986 (yes I've been on her case to replace them).

I remember these as well. For some reason I thought these were also Sears alarms. They somewhat resemble them. I think they came out around the same time as the Sears alarm.
