@cskate445 Try downloading a codec pack (e.g. K-lite pack), as it seems that you don't have necessary video codecs installed on your machine.

i am trying to compress my video but after i convert the file i get an audio track with NO VIDEO. can you help me?

Also decribe all your actions step-by-step, whether you have sound when previewing the file within the program (click Edit button to check this) and the media players you used to play created videos back.

@cooliopia Depends on the quality of the output file you want to get. The lower the output bitrate is, the lower is the quality of the result video.
