@NeoLotex Undead ring makes all that character's physical attacks have a Holy status, which the Sinistrals are weak to.

well, actually you revealed the mistery of the undead ring to me...i played this game several times, but i wasn't able to figure out how to handle this ring.

i mean...the stats are poor compared to some other rings

Robbed royal. I hate when a party member leaves and poof, your best equipment is gone. Like when Alistair from Dragon Age left with my Warden armor and some artifact weapons.

Hot damn, that's one powerful sword! It's a good thing you won that fight. I always like it when you're allowed to win unwinnables in RPGs and then get something really good out of it, it gives you an incentive.

Aw, too bad Guy's out of the party to make use of that sword, though...

Err crap you gave the Gades Sword to Guy and then he goes and leaves your party! Its like what happened in Star Ocean when that guy just decided to rob you after beating a dungeon.

Ah, the limitations of the SNES. The game obviously didn't intend for you to actually defeat Gades, there. So, even though you totally pwned him, the game goes on as if he kicked your ass. OK, whatever. So, I assume we haven't heard the last of Gades?
