  • I really liked the show and the music is ridiculous.

But I personally hated the props.

    Total turn off for me.

  • im a proub member of the spirit of south paulding marching band and we got a higher score with james bond but you guys kicked butt in 2010. im looking forward to future comps. you guys are our competition :P see you in district!

  • Central's goal is to entertain, period. We strive to win "Most Entertaining Band" and if more trophies come...fine. With 25 Overall Grand Championships in the last 13 years, we must be doing something right! Our kids work VERY hard on music and drill, but the bottom line is to entertain the folks and have fun.

Some folks might prefer a more 'conventional' band...but one thing you will not hear anyone say is, "that band was just like Central's"!

  • The 2010 show is a dream sequence. This kid dreams he is Mr. Potatohead, following this crazy band across the country to the Rose Parade. At the end of the show, he's back in the bed. He wakes up, sees the crowd watching him and runs off, screaming.

Folks who see us every year like to see how we 'recycle' props.

Some folks say we put in everything but the kitchen sink...they're wrong...at the end of the show, a band member throws a kitchen sink on the field, too!

    It's just entertainment.

  • It's a tired old saying, but it's true: There are no losers in band competitions.

I enjoy watching them all, from the smallest to the biggest. Every band member is a winner. I loved your show at NP, you guys rocked! Go Spirit of South Paulding!

  • ALSO... I would like to know what the Mr. Potato head is all about.... its in like every one of your shows???

  • Well, yeah... but SPHS had the highest overall score of the whole competition. Hence why we got the biggest trophy.

But we basically won the same thing, and you guys beat us at the North Paulding Competition.. XD by like .5 or something

    Congrats!

  • Actually, we both won. I had to do a little research, but South Paulding won Overall in the 1A-3A division and Central Carroll won in the 4A-Open or 'Gold' Division. Congratulations!

  • Actually, in response to "PrideBacker"

South Paulding High School won Overall Grand Championships at this competition.

  • Omg I know right??? I'm in the panther regiment colorguard and when i saw them do this I was like oh my god I can't focus!!!!! Where do I look?!

  • our props only make sense if you've seen our past shows... they're like inside jokes. sorry if you guys were out in the dark... but i'm glad you like our music :)
