You definately need to work in exploding off the rubber it looks as though you are throwing with only your arm. You need to throw your glove hand out in front and really explode if you are doing it right your body will make the letter k. At no time should your glove hand be resting at your side. Once you learn to do this you will start throwing a lot harder GOOD LUCK! KEEP IT UP ! THERE ARE ONLY A SELECT FEW THAT CONTINUE TO PITCH THERE ENTIRE SOFTBALL CAREER!

thanks for the response. This was 2 years ago and she has improved with the explosion. On Tuesday her pitch coach said that she is again not expolding. YOur comment will help her see that we are right. Thanks

she could have seriously injured her arm by how she was 'following through'. you're supposed to bring your arm all the way up to your collarbone.
