I still think DeVere lead up a team of writers, and if Hudson's extrapolations prove correct on any level, then that would confirm that there was a pool of literary talent using Shakespeare as a front. Just thinking about it, DeVere would seem to have the most likely knowledge for the settings and trappings, and Bassano added story and plot elements.
