    there was a sequel to Allapu Gedera.

    no connection in the story, but actors and the production team - almost the same.

    That movie is "Ataweni Pudumaya" I like "Ataweni Pudumaya" even more than Allapu Gedera.

    "Ataweni Pudumaya" is based on

    "Penne Nee Vazha" (Tamil) - was later produced in Hindi as "Ek Nari Ek Brahmachari"
