  • The main point of the lecture, I think was the message "Tell Us A Story; Make Us Care"...if your story doesn't tug at the heartstrings, what use is it? People can take great pictures, but if it's just a one off straight shot, it's just a surface picture, it doesn't dig deeper and I think that's what David Griffin is trying to get across. "Tell Us A Story; Make Us Care" - think before you press the shutter.

    I'm sincerely hoping photo journalism and the interweb create a new golden age for us journalists, because things are looking pretty dim at the moment.
