@Nibbler800 You're so right, natural is best. It's strange how the human race has come full circle. Nature - chemicals - nature. I think chemicals are not only seen as potentially harmful, but the financial power behind the big brands is making people sick and tired of being sold cheap ingredients to maximize the profits of the chemical giants. Nobody minds paying for a genuinely good product, but even then you can be exploited!
when i had hair i used a natural remedy by 'malcolm k harker' to treat my scalp psoriasis called '599 hair nectar shampoo and conditioner' (made here in NZ) which was 100% effective... then when i decided to shave my hair off and go bald, i no longer needed to use it,.. so i can only guess that my condition was somehow linked to me having hair !?
@pumppumper - Sounds really good. I agree natural's often best solution to our cosmetic issues. For that reason I'm dubious about the 'mineral oil with shower cap' solution mentioned in this vid. I understand mineral oil is pore blocking and unnatural; quite the opposite of natural oils. Thanks for posting your comment and info too.
A friend had a pill for her psoriasis that made her go bald, the steroid creams has made her skin thin and delicate and none of this has worked!
Go back to nature, oils (organic, no pesticides), drink a teaspoon or 2 of Flax Seed Oil or cook with it. I made a shampoo for her sore scalp, now her sores have cleared. I sell on eBay UK. I'm not a con artist and I'm not rich, I sell 300ml of organic handmade shampoo packed with fab oils and organic herbs for £10. My store name is humankindorganics
I just use a topical steroid gel called Topicort. It usually takes care of any break outs within a couple of days. The thing is of course, it always comes back when I stop using it, and I have to because it's a steroid. This is by prescription only.
injection in the scalp area? one word... OW !
