@Steven4466 Dave added more than garnish dude - he's like a sick sick player and a lot of the way this band sounded was because of the way he voiced his chords, the leads he played, his time... "ended up providing the garnish" is a pretty banal statement and completely unfair to a cat who is every bit as badass as any of the other cats in that band.

all great musicians there but compare this to the studio version and is evident it was a shitty day for them, it sounds like shit. with all due respecto to the musicians

I caught these guys so freaking long ago in a little club in Albany, NY Jeff Berlin was 17!!! And Dave Stewart just blew me away...or was it Holdsworth?? Or Bruford (playing tunes coconuts!!!)
