there are many subgenres
hardcore techno does exists they are called hardtechno and (psychedelic hardcore techno)Tekno
hardcore may even have breaks
this is UK hardcore with techno influence ;)

Techno =/= hardcore
This is Happy Hardcore, and Hardcore is an EDM genre.
There is Hardcore Punk aswell as Hardcore "techno" if you wanna call it that...
