I participated at the protest until 4:30. The whole thing was extremely peaceful all the time I was there. Just because a bunch of idiots act stupidly does not mean all the protesters were violent. Please do not blame all students for the actions of a minority.

I was standing at the front of the protester's line when this happened. I swear that I did not see any paintball guns or protester violence. The protesters on Milton Street were all acting peacefully based off of what I witnessed. Also, as an American I have little personal gain in siding with the protesters,but the riot police crackdown was pretty much uncalled for.
