This is just masterful storytelling, in my opinion... I love how the characters get introduced and their relationship gets established. Whether she's handing him the water bottle or letting him take over with a vocal solo... or, especially when she lets him know he was flat with his singing. Just killer character development. They accomplish in a short film what Hollywood rarely accomplishes in an entire feature! Well done.
