This is from a series called Drew Carey's Sporting Adventures from 2006.

In this episode he visits the Bernabeu and talks to Phil Ball about Real Madrid and fawns over our benches.

This is an hour long show, maybe I can upload more parts when I have more time.

Note: Drew Carey is a Barca fan.

  • Yes those stadiums youve just stated are capable of welcoming plenty of fans but keep in mind those people dont have seats, their arse is on a bench that circles the stadium. Besides the Bernabeu is the most beautiful and spectacular statium you'll ever see in present day. The locker rooms, cafes, restaurents and suits are unreal, its really a sight to see so who cares how big other stadiums are when you have a modern jewel like this.

  • hahaha. yes it is you moron

  • @LecceDiPane hampden is a historical stadium ,like old wembley was, olympia in munich, meazza bernabeu cam nou anfield. They re all legendary stadiums. But,the best stadium-sports facility in the world is BY FAR cowboys stadium. It literaly shits on any arena in this world, even wembley or allianz look like a joke compared to US stadiums.

  • These are nothing compared to the one and only hampden park!!!

  • I want more! Why isn't there more of this series around online to watch?

  • @rogerpenna Baseball is very traditional. It would be seen at too gaudy putting players above the club. Baseball has other ways to do that like with the big contracts, etc. Think of the same way Brazil doesn't change its national football kit because of tradition.

It's a beautiful stadium, tops in the world of course.

  • oHH, It's a dream to see Bernabeu !

I hope my dream comes true :)

  • @mmmodafoca I have Spanish/Mexican parents living in California and i have to say that i keep an open mind of a lot of things. As a Barça supporter, i think that appreciation and love for football has always been in me, i just had to find it at the right time.

  • @ardiesken If your referring to the Camp Nou (sorry, i didnt see you the post you responded to) the capacity there is close to 100,000 at an actual 99, 354 according to Wikipedia. Maybe some fans or people that have been there can shed some real light. I hope to see a couple of matches there... some day baby.

  • what a beautiful stadium, and excellent documentary from Drew Carey an american who keeps an open mind. I wish more american's would have that same mentality.

  • even in Brazil we have a few stadiums that have those seats for the reserve players. Why the NY Yanks stadium has wood benches for the players, I have no idea!

  • Barcelona is 110000
