First off, before I get a flaming from hard-core fightstar fans, I would like to say I AM a fan of fightstar's work and really like their sound and don't give a shit if Charlie was in a boy-band before Fightstar.

However, as a fan of NIN too, I must say, this cover stands very weak up to the original or the brilliant cover by Mr.Cash, it just seems to lack (to me) to original depth and emotion Trent (Reznor, singer of NIN) gave to the song or the incredible emotive ability of Cash.

surely when entering this video you didn't expect it to be as good as Nine Inch Nails or Johnny Cash's version? it's just a cover, not an attempted improvement. whats the point in trying to improve something thats already perfect. i saw NIN live a year or two ago and this was the last song. perfect end to an amazing night.

this version is much better than that of the original by NIN. it has a lot more emotion, and it actually rocks, unlike the repetitious original.

Cash does the best cover!! He is the legend and deserves the respect,... NIN deserves the respect for writting the song and Fightstar made a good cover with a strong emotional connection with the song... you cant argue with any of that ... great song bottom line no matter who does it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
