Last night, we had a HUGE bonfire and smores. And Steven didn't listen to Christina about leaving the car lights on and we ended up with a dead battery.

Questions of the day:
What is the worst situation you've been in when your car battery died?
When is a safe time to stop watering a fire?
Is our water hose normal?

  • I finally am going to catch up on your videos!!! Yay! Oh man--I love campfires and marsh mellows.

  • Me, my sister and our children were driving in the winter at night on the busiest expressway near jfk airport in ny. i think everyone that drives that road speeds and I believe the speed limit is 50 or 55. well it was late at night and on the curve our car died with no businesses or anything around us but the speeding cars and no cell phones at that time. It was scarry as we had no lights to speak of and thought for sure some one would hit us.PRETTY SCAREY

  • Oh, and you actually need to leave the car running for a while anyway to recharge. :)

  • Oh, I LOVE S'mores!!! They're one of my favorite foods ever. I hate when the marshmallow gets burnt, though.

I don't know anything about fire permits, I live outside of city limits, no one bothers us out here.

You water hose is weird, why does it squirt out like that?

I don't know if there's ever a safe time to stop watering a fire. We thought ours was completely out, and the next day someone stacked a few things on it, a wind hit, and suddenly there was fire all across the yard.

  • You do know you need to get a fire permit to have a fire on your property when it's under five acres.

If you had gotten caught you would have been slapped with a 1000$ fine.

The fire permit is easy to get, and if I'm not mistaken free.

  • On that ever-so-rare occasion that I visited my father on his turf (twice in my entire life), we were driving about 9pm in a thunderstorm, past a graveyard, two hours from civilization... when the battery died. XD My (now former) step-mom had to drive out with a half-sister to save us!

  • MARSHMALLOWSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I <3 marshmallows and chocolate and graham crackersssssssss! Always listen to Christina. We were camping in New York (while we were living in NC and we were supposed to go home the next morning and our car wouldn't start, so we ended up having to go home the next day, (my dad didn't believe me when I said it but) the battery was dead.
