Cloud Strife x Aeris Gainsborough: The Tragic Love Story

Cloud and Aeris' relationship is often said to be "A Story of a Love that could never be" which is why so many people adore it for the tragedy.

I tried to show that in this video. Basically it's telling the story of their relationship.

It begins in Midgar when Cloud first has his mission, then he falls through the roof of Aerith's Church where she looks after him.

They travel together until she has to leave to summon the White Materia. Cloud follows and they are reunited briefly before Sephiroth kills her.

After she is buried, Cloud seeks revenge on Sephiroth but he's always thinking of and remembering her death.

As he tries to forgive himself for letting her die, Aeris' spirit tries to reassure him.

Eventually, he defeats Sephiroth and finally feels at peace as Aeris has been avenged.

Now all that's left is for him to find her in the Promised Land.

That's the basics of their story from the game and movie anyway.

Haha. Theres nothing wrong with liking both. I've kinda warmed to CloTi more over the years. I still prefer Cleris over it and believe that they were the original intended couple. I hate Zerith more than anything else. Lol!

All Tifa did was give him the cold shoulder when they were young and hang out with her bratty little friends who left Cloud out.
