on the manual it said to hook up the green wire to a power supply on the ebrake switch. and you are saying to ground it? moving the yellow to the 4th spot what does that do?

So you just have to ground the switch and connect the green wire to the switch also? To turn on the switch on and off.
My other question does the switch get really hot?

Ok so I have had this unit for quite some time now an I have had it by passed since day one same way you have done it ... So I jut switched out cars today and installed it had to put on new harness I connected everything them same and when I started to go around the block the message came up on my screen what could b the problem ?!?

@Ju3tfits Sorry for late reply. I just got on here after quite a while. If you changed vehicle and it didnt work most likely the mute wire that you switch has gotten loose and is not all the way in. Just make sure that its all the way in. I had the same thing happen to me also when I removed it from my car to my sister's car.
