Commander Zodiac on Hilton Head Island, SC. The behavior you are seeing here is when a group of dolphins "herd" a school of fish towards the shallows and then suddenly burst from the water forcing the fish onto the shore where the dolphin then beach themselves in order to get a mouthful of fish. This is called Strand feeding and it is a behavoir that has not been well documented as this behavior is unique to dolphins living in the coastal waters of South Carolina.
