@EnergeticAshley I would agree with you. The car obviously had more power than mine. I'm not cocky, I just posted a video. 1/8 mile is all about who has a better setup and who is better at driving. It was an 1/8th mile race not 1/4 mile or 1 meter, so I won.

@dev71893 400whp is only done with a good size turbo so lag is to blame. If the 240 had DR's and a 2-step, different scenario. You saw how it pulled back mid track. Now, if they were to run from a 40mph roll, forget about it. I am running into this issue at the track currently.

no way that 240 was 400 hp, if it was, that mustang wouldnt have been dead even with it, plus the weight on the mustang is way more, the 240 must have fucked up a shift or is boosted at like 5-7 psi

A 300hp 240sx can EASILY hang with a 350hp Mustang...Why?

Because the 240 is lighter...Lighter=Slower 1/8th times, But FASTER 1/4ths(Because it's easier to keep on accelerating whilst at speed). Also...BIG Torque disadvantage for the 240. Torque is a HUGE factor in 1/8th mile racing.
