Spoken like a true city slicker. City people hate nature and wildlife. They resent any intrusion on their concrete jungle.

I find that utterly hilarious. I live in the suburbs, and have a plethora of various animals. African Pied Crows, Black Cats, Chameleons, Foxes. I'm a true animal lover but Pigeons are indeed my least favorite bird.

Sorry if it sounded uncharacteristic of you! But to me the suburbs are part of the concrete jungle. I live about 300 miles from the nearest suburb.

Pied crows? Are they pets, or do you live in Africa and get to see them wild?

Why are you down on pigeons? Familiarity breeding contempt? Just wondering!

I once went out of my way to pick up a sick and injured pigeon, the common town dwelling kind. I kept it for two years and nursed it back to health before releasing it. I would do it again.

No, no! I do not live in Africa, although I have visited it numerous times! I'm not sure why I dislike pigeons....Possibly the fact that there are too many of them. If I did find an injured pigeon I too, would care for it. I'm just saying that I couldn't possibly stand to be in a single area, with thousands of them.

I've never had the opportunity to play with thousands of pigeons, but I'd like to some day. It looks like it would be fun!
