First time ever, calling in a turkey

This was so cool! Like most guys I've been hunting since I was a kid, but never hunted turkeys until this past season and on my 4th hunt called in my first turkey. I'm addicted!

not meaning to bash on your hunt. it was quite good. but here's the thing...did you have a second tag for that other gobbler? you took that shot without waiting for the other one to clear far enough away. if you look closely the second bird was hit and injured. now, it may have survived but more than likely it died elsewhere. you could have un knowingly screwed that flock of birds for a season or two.

I know the feeling of how awesome it is to hear a gobble from your call, man. If you tried making your calling a little smoother and faster, though, you might get some more gobbles, and more birds! In fact, this looks similar to my hunt, the 3 birds flew a creek and came within shooting range.
