  • Wow, this sounds just like our union UTR (United Teachers of Richmond) whose executive board called the police on their members also. Our current leadership is also leading us down the same road as your union...something is stinking about this...I know what you mean on this.

  • If you know for a fact that you are being misrepresented by the union, then you should make every effort to resign your membership immediately.

  • It's time for healing now. UAW isn't perfect and so is the management. But let's forgive and forget now and move on. It is what it is. We are all jobless now. Peace and good luck guys.

  • Unions are nothing but organized crook organization. They will take your money but you will not get anything back. Did they save all these Fremont workers jobs? NO! Did they take their money every month? Hell Yeah! Too bad fremont workers fell for this scam.

  • Why and when did American unions become so collaborationist? Was it because the radical, democratic unions like the I.W.W. were destroyed by force back in the 'teens to thirties? Because post-war to 1970 the government promised and granted the unions certain victories in exchanging for kicking out the more radical and democratic elements, like happened with the AFL and CIO? If we could learn where it went wrong it could help labor regroup and bring back *real* unions. It's time to organize!
