  • Her feathers are fluffed although they weren't the other day. Is that because she was just scared on they way back

    Home?

  • @snapegal It is a new environment for her. Give her a day or two to adjust. BUT, I highly recommend taking her to a Bird Savvy Vet for a wellness checkup

  • After paige passed, I quickly read the back of the treat bag. Sugar, corn syrup and much more odd stuff. My dad thinks and me too that an other explanation is that Paige a rare breed could've gotten a rare genetic disorder that might of killed her. :(either way my best friend has moved on. A hole will be in my heart forever and in Jason's too. We ate saving up to get this wonderful bird stuffed. What could of hurt this best friend of mine so severely, so quickly?

  • @snapegal To be honest, Birds are VERY good at hiding illness. There is a possibility she was ill before this and didnt show it until it was too late :(

  • My bird Paige passed away after giving her a new treat I miss her so much

  • @snapegal Oh no. I am so sorry :( What happened?

Destiny was not well and I took her to the Vet on Friday. She is now on meds and I have to add Iodine to her water

  • Look at my new Wendy video

  • They didn't know why. I think I might know why. Yesterday we tried her on a new treat. She loved it. However when I gave it to the blue birds they didn't think much of it. Paige ate it. Just a little, when I noticed the directions on the back, do not let portions exceed 20% of bird's daily diet.

  • We have no idea, so I thought I might tell you a bit to see if you can find out what happened to my best friend . She was happy, chirpy, sweet, snuggly, cuddly and being great. She would get on my finger and kiss me and just chirp away. She was happy and playing with her toys, and chirping at me. I kissed her goodbye and went to church . when I got back I scurried upstairs to find Paige with her eyes open lying down petrified in her cage . I screamed to my dad as we brought her to her avian vet

  • Because it upsets them and stresses them
