Wow !!! You blew me away ... Did not expect this from piano but certainly i was wrong, big time. What separates you from the others is how you pour so much feeling to this piece. Very nice. My pleasure listening.

I think Dizzysfingers played this music better than others, I love his version.

@dizzysfingers yes ... it looks simple enough, not too many stretches but its just putting the passion into the music that really counts in this :)

this was originally composed for piano, by stanley myers, but john williams made it more famous as a guitar piece and the theme tune to the film "the deer hunter" by simply transcribing it for the classical guitar. so i am not surprised that it can be this beautiful on a piano, but people expect it to only sound good on the more famous transcription on the guitar, but are very wrong - i personally have no preference to any version - but aside from peoples mistakes about this - very well played!

@dizzysfingers ohh - so it was not myers that composed it - it was williams and myers transposed it for guitar ... i see :)

@grantyboy1007 you were right Stanley Myers wrote it originally for piano. and Williams invited Myers to rewrite it for guitar.. John Williams just played it.

@dizzysfingers also, i have just printed the same version as you were playing i think, and iv only just realised how hard it really is to get the right feeling into it ...
