It's true that a firma is a company but we don't exactly use the term firma we use "fyrirtæki". Which to foreigners probably makes no sense since the word is put together with fyrir (for or before) and tæki (equipment).
Ég vil fyrirtæki. - Also to me "Ég vil firma" sounds very weird to me. If you would walk up to me and say it I'd look at you like you were some kind of retard ;P
Love your videos though. You should keep making them.

"Mig langar í fyrirtæki" would be a better translation of "I want a company" :)

In the end u R probably meaning Ég vil félagsskap ...as in I want company....
company has nothing to do with your sentence and makes no senes!!

You really speak great Icelandic! I'm impressed! At the risk of sounding stupid though, then I have absolutely never heard the word "firma" and I'm not sure a regular Icelander would understand it, although a Icelandic professor probably would. A much more common name for a firm is "fyrirtæki" but of course that is not a weak neuter noun.
Interestingly many human parts-words are, like "auga" (eye), "lifur" (liver), "eyra", (ear) and a few more, don't know why though.

"want" "vil" or "vill" "vil" is for when girl say it and "vill" is for when boy say it =)
Hey, cool first responce! I forgot about your videos actually...and I subscribe :( Sorry! I saw this in the "new videos from people you're subscribing to" bar up top on the front page and checked it out. Icelandic is so cool :D
So if "Eg vil firma" is "I want a company", "Eg vil hjarta" is "I want a heart"...or maybe I'm wrong and you asked a trick question! Ahhhh!
QUESTION: As this next part I'm going to try myself, does "Thu (thorn) vil firma" make sense as "You want a company"?

=D You are correct.
And you're close - "Þú vilt firma" - but I haven't taught how to say 'want' or to conjugate it, so don't worry.
