Paint the rocks, then the white space is the water. The waterfall has different streams of water, so be sure to leave spaces deliberately and artitically between the waters and rocks and do not do this in fuss and fume.

Learn Chinese painting of cascade waterfall and rocks easily with a brush and ink with Chinese calligraphy techniques.

This "Easy Series" of videos will cover all the main genres and subjects of Chinese painting.

  • This is great!!

Can you tell me what brushes he is using...and his name?

This looks like a feather brush???

  • @MrHroark He is using perhaps a soft goat hair brush. Sorry I don't have his name at this moment. He and other painters are teaching in Seniors' Community Colleges in China.

  • @sf108com

Thank you. Am i correct that this is the Nanjing, broken / split brush style landscape?

    I like it very much.

Thank you for making it available.

  • @MrHroark The split brush techniques are very common as used by many CBP artists. In ChPaintingsNetwork channel, they have more technqiues by Zheng Gang doing landscapes.

  • @MrHroark Hi Mr. Hroark, we have tried to provide as many info as possible. However, due to the various works and painters collected by our team members, sometimes we are not able to provide a specific name for a certain painter or a painting. Thank you for nice comments.

  • Gorgeous! Thank you so much.Barbara

  • Also, this is excellent camera work! We can see really well what he is doing, the corner of the painting he is using for his inspiration today, and the comments are clearly audible.

  • @sf108com

I like both of your channels very much.

  • Thanks. Check out ChPaintingsNetwork's newest upload...
