Eighth Grade Triple Jump 35'2

Triple Jump at the first medal meet of the season.

I placed first with a new personal record of 35'2, with a good friend of mine getting a close second at 35'1.
Third place went to someone i didn't know, i caught his first name of Nathaniel, his best was 35'.5

A very close competition and it was a blast, Hoping to extend my PR to 36'1 (or 11 meters). The school record is somewhere around 38 feet.

you do not jump no 39 my highest is a 44 and im a junior in highschool. and plus you are white so its impossible

@DirtRider594 The tape measure doesn't lie, and please don't bring race into this, the fact that i'm white has absolutely nothing to do with my ability to jump. In fact, the world record triple jumper, Jonathan Edwards, is white. You should look him up some time.

thats good, we have a great high school track team and our best guys arent far over 40ft i think

My freshman year I got 28" and this year I am getting 40s lol. u can always improve.

yeah their was this senior at my school last year that jumped 48 feet. he was state champion as well and his freshman year he only jumped 37 feet.

Yeah its a lot better than most kids at my school. I finished the season at 39'0.5 (breaking the school record in the process)
