Thanks for the laughs, Bob. You never got the recognition you deserved, but in my eyes you were right up there with Carlin, Pryor, Hicks, Kinison and Dangerfield as one of the best stand up comedians ever.

@matthie34 I know what you mean. I found out he died on altreel's "Standup Comedians" page. They very seldom mention when celebs die nowadays, unless they're really old or die of an OD or are murdered or some shit. Robert was not the most brilliant social critic in the world, but he had a real knack for saying universal things that adults find funny. His alternate titles for "Protected" are hilarious - "Shaving Ryan's Privates"? Classic.

dangerfield was snapy made me laugh every time he told his jokes, carlin was blunt to the point humor, but schimmel he made me laugh so hard my sides ache. still can't belive he's gone. was so underrated r.ip. to the best

holy crap. where was the media on this one? I hadnt realized he died. By far my fav comedian of all time.

I've listened to "Unprotected" probably 100 times and i will listen to it again another 100
