Simama Kenya, a new youth initiative that is championed by President Mwai Kibaki's son,Jimmy, has now been launched officially. During the launch in which officials were unveiled,Jimmy maintained this was not his launching pad to politics but an initiative to give the youth a voice.
These words have been recycled over and over by "the older generation" politicians. What we need is a workable plan with facts broken down to the second and with daily results. We talk about 2030, but that is all we do, talk. How much has been achieved since it's inception? More commissions, no food, water, or electricity! Might as well change it to "Vision 1830" Jimi is right, Kenyans are losing faith in their country, I know I have!
