Yes, the days when pretty women in movies weren't called sluts and whores, but dames and dolls. Awesome

Yes, I killed him. I killed him for money and for a woman. I didn't get the money and I didn't get the woman. Pretty, isn't it?

Sorry but do you not even bother to look at what films have been released in the past 40 years? So you are completely disregarding The Godfather, Goodfellas, Memento, Oldboy, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Pulp Fiction Reservoir Dogs I could go on for ages. Yes the noir period was great but there have been hundreds of great films released in the past 40 or even more recently 20 years.

Hi everyone I recently filmed a short noir film for my A level course work and it would be awesome if you could take a look at it and give any comments on it as I would really appreciate it :) if you can spare 2-3 mins of your time.

As you think Drive and Inception aren't modern classics. You obviously know nothing about films. This isn't an insult by the way, it's a clarification of an obvious fact.

    Inception, Drive?

    lol

At least list actual modern classics like There Will Be Blood or something.

Go away with your bullshit. This is a classic, yes. But you have the nerve to state something like that when they're contemporary classics like Inception, Drive, Brick, etc... is just ignorant..

In those days these actors and actress were working for the studios. The movie makers could take chances to make these kind of movies.
